AURORA WORLD INC. "DESIGN YOOHOO'S NEXT FRIEND" CONTEST OFFICIAL RULES
ELIGIBILITY : NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. AURORA WORLD INC. "DESIGN YOOHOO?셎 NEXT FRIEND" contest is open to legal U.S. residents between the ages of 4 and 12 at the time of entry. Void in Puerto Rico and where prohibited or restricted by law. Employees of Aurora World Inc. and its affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, printers and judges, and their immediate families and individuals residing in the same household with any of these employees, are ineligible to enter or win.
HOW TO ENTER : Go to www.yoohoofriends.com and click on the contest banner posted. Mail completed design to: Aurora World, Inc. ?쏡esign YooHoo?셲 Next Friend?? 8820 Mercury Lane Pico Rivera, CA 90660. Limit one entry per participant, but more than one participant per household will be permitted to enter. Entries must be postmarked between March 1 and May 25, 2010, and be received by May 31, 2010 to be eligible to enter and win. Any hand drawn medium may be used to draw and color the picture (pencils, pens, crayons, markers, paints, etc.). Participants must use a letter size paper and have parental signature acknowledging permission to participate or entry may be disqualified. No responsibility is assumed by Aurora World Inc. ("Sponsor") for lost, late, illegible, incomplete, stolen, postage due or misdirected entries or mail.
CONTEST JUDGING : Judging for finalists and prize winners will be based on creativity (50%), use of color (30%) and selection of an animal (20%). Finalists and prize winners will be picked by a panel of judges selected by Aurora World Inc., under the supervision of an independent judging organization whose decisions will be final and binding on all matters relating to this contest. In the event of a tie, additional tie-breaker judges will be appointed to determine the winners. All entry materials and artwork become the exclusive property of Aurora World Inc. and will not be returned. By entering, participant and parent or legal guardian of participant represent that the artwork submitted is participant's original art. Prize winners will be selected from all finalist entries by the first week of June, 2010. Potential prize winners will be notified by June 15 by mail. If mailed prize notification is returned as undeliverable for any reason, prize winner may be disqualified and the finalist with the next highest score will be selected as the alternate winner.
PRIZES : One (1) First Prize, one (1) Second Prize and one (1) Third Prize will be awarded. First prize is a our giant YooHoo & Friends plush in 24??equal to retail value of $150. Second prize is a 10 piece selection from YooHoo & Friends plush equal to retail value of $100. Third prize is a 10 piece selection of YooHoo & Friends Plush equal to retail value of $50. Prizes are not transferable. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if any prize becomes unavailable for any reason. Prizes cannot be redeemed for cash or substituted. Limit one prize per person. All prizes will be awarded, provided that a sufficient number of entries are received. Allow 6 weeks for delivery of prizes. All federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the prize winner.
WAIVER : By entering, participant waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental and consequential damages, attorneys' fees or any damages other than actual out-of-pocket costs or losses that may arise in connection with participation in the Contest or acceptance, possession and use of any prize. By entering this contest and/or accepting any prize, participant agrees to the use of his/her name, address, artwork, likeness, photograph and/or voice and statements by participant for advertising/publicity purposes without notice or further compensation to the extent that it is not prohibited by law.
